London-based artificial intelligence (AI) startup Fyma has successfully secured $2.1 million in a recent funding round led by Quadri Ventures and Second Century Ventures.
The company, founded in 2019 by Karen Burns and Taavi Tammiste, specializes in analyzing real-time video feeds using AI technology. Fyma plans to utilize the investment to advance its go-to-market strategy and further develop its products through a dedicated research and development program.
Fyma’s software is designed to seamlessly integrate with any IP camera globally, turning them into sensors for comprehensive real-time video feed analysis. This innovation caters to the facilities management and real estate sectors, offering detailed insights for commercial real estate developers, asset owners, and managers.
The applications range from monitoring and occupancy analysis to precise footfall tracking and efficient parking management, providing valuable data for tenant experience apps.
The company, with offices in London, New York, and Tallinn, aims to reduce the need for additional hardware by making its software compatible with existing camera networks.
