Warehow appoints industry veteran John Hughes as non-executive chair following £2.1 Million funding round

UK-based third-party logistics (3PL) provider, Warehow, has announced the appointment of John Hughes as Non-Executive Chair. The appointment follows the company’s recent success in raising £2.1 million in a Series A funding round, marking a significant step in its expansion strategy.

Hughes brings over 30 years of experience in advising both private and public companies. A former Senior Partner at KPMG, he has played a key role in scaling industry disruptors and executing transformation strategies for international corporations. His experience spans large-scale transactions in the retail and logistics sectors, including advising on deals valued in the billions.

Beyond his consulting work, Hughes has held senior Board roles, including serving as Chairman of a global distribution company and as Executive Chairman of Yodel Logistics, where he was responsible for overseeing 12,500 employees. He has also guided various start-ups through key transformation projects and fundraising efforts. His extensive network across banking, private equity, and high-net-worth individual (HNWI) communities is expected to be a valuable asset for Warehow as it looks to accelerate its growth.
