Lincoln’s esteemed Mosaic Hub, nestled on Silver Street, is undergoing a significant evolution. With a relentless commitment to bolstering the local digital ecosystem, this co-working space has recently ventured into an ambitious project that sees an adjacent property reimagined and repurposed. As a result, the flourishing tech community now benefits from the addition of four modern, fully-equipped offices.
These captivating workspaces have breathed new life into a formerly disused building, which once housed the iconic Bierkeller.
But the enhancements don’t end there. The Mosaic Hub’s expansion has also yielded an inviting conference space, available for public reservation, and an upscale meeting room. This transformation is the manifestation of Mosaic’s unwavering dedication to nurturing Lincoln’s digital landscape.
Mosaic Hub’s commitment to providing diverse occupancy options remains unshaken. From hot desking to desk rentals, the co-working space continues to be a flexible and accommodating choice for tech professionals. This expansion also welcomes prominent local businesses into the fold.
Leading tenancy technology provider, GoodLord, finds a new home within these sleek digital quarters, alongside software companies PageTiger and Codal. Oliver Gurnell, Co-Founder and CTO of PageTiger, expressed his excitement regarding the move, highlighting the appeal of returning to the city center. He stated, “The move to Mosaic is necessary to continue our journey as we need more space to grow out our teams as we expand our customer base, and this building will provide us the clean, ultra-modern, high-tech space we have been accustomed to, but with much better breakout areas and communal spaces. We will also be surrounded by other similar tech businesses who we can hopefully learn from and who can also learn from us.”
Existing tenants, who have flourished within the Mosaic community, now enjoy the opportunity to expand within the shared space. Lime Green Accountancy and Nokia have transitioned from renting individual desks to securing entire offices. Notably, eComOne, a specialist eCommerce agency, has grown its team and is moving into a larger office within the newly established space.
Richard Hill, CEO and founder of eComOne, commented on the advantages of the transition, highlighting the company’s growth. He noted, “We have hired three new members of staff across our SEO, content, and business development teams, with several roles still open, and we feel the office gives us not only the space but the prestige and feel we were looking for.”
As part of this project, the building’s entrance and reception have been strategically moved from Free School Lane to Silver Street. This calculated decision centralizes the heart of the expanded space, fostering a sense of community among tenants.
Ben James, Property Engagement Manager at Mosaic, expressed his excitement about the growth and evolution of the space, stating, “We’re really excited to welcome new tenants into this inspiring space. It’s amazing to see Mosaic grow and to see our tenants’ teams grow with it.” The expansion of Mosaic not only rejuvenates the local tech community but also contributes to the ongoing development of Lincolnshire’s digital landscape.
