Anthropic expands European footprint with new offices in Paris and Munich

Anthropic is expanding its European presence by opening new offices in Paris and Munich, adding to its existing hubs in London, Dublin, and Zurich, and following recent openings in Tokyo, Seoul, and Bengaluru.

The company has tripled its EMEA workforce over the past year as the region became its fastest-growing market, with run-rate revenue increasing more than ninefold. Major European companies like L’Oréal, BMW, SAP, and Sanofi are using Claude for critical AI tasks, reflecting strong regional demand.

The new offices will serve as centers for commercial growth, policy work, and partnerships, supported by a strengthened leadership team that includes Pip White (Head of EMEA North), Thomas Remy (Head of EMEA South), and Guillaume Princen (Head of EMEA Startups and Digital Businesses).

Anthropic is also partnering with local institutions such as Light Art Space in Berlin, TUM.ai in Munich, and Unaite in France to support AI education and cultural initiatives. With these additions, Anthropic now operates in 12 global cities.
