Volteum raises €2.5 Million to expand fleet management platform across Western Europe

As fleet operators face mounting pressure to manage electric, hybrid and conventional vehicles within a single operation, the need for better data has become increasingly urgent. Volteum, a fleet intelligence platform focused on supporting this transition, has raised €2.5 million in fresh funding to expand across the UK and Western Europe.

Volteum has secured €2.5 million in a funding round led by Movens Capital, with participation from WakeUp Capital and Aidiom, alongside follow-on investment from Day One Capital, Techstars and Nesprit. The round follows the company’s €1.25 million pre-seed raise, bringing total funding to €3.75 million.

The company said the investment will support expansion across the UK, the Benelux region and other Western European markets, while accelerating product development for its fleet management platform.

Founded to address challenges associated with fleet electrification, Volteum provides software designed to help operators manage mixed fleets that include diesel, petrol, hybrid and electric vehicles. The platform consolidates operational data to support decision-making around charging, maintenance, vehicle performance and fleet transition planning.

According to the company, many fleet operators continue to rely on a combination of spreadsheets, telematics systems and disconnected software tools that offer limited visibility into costs and vehicle performance. Volteum aims to provide a single platform capable of analysing fleet data and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.

The company said its platform collects around 150 data points from each connected vehicle and uses that information to detect unusual charging behaviour, identify maintenance issues and generate operational recommendations. Volteum claims the platform can help fleet operators reduce costs by up to 30%.

The UK remains Volteum’s largest market. The company currently works with organisations including Royal Mail, Lex Autolease, Siemens and NG Bailey. It plans to expand its local presence while preparing for broader European growth by the end of 2026.

Since shifting to a fully business-to-business model in 2022, Volteum has gained customers across logistics, utilities, financial services, leasing and the public sector. Its client list includes Bolt, Royal Mail, Schneider Electric, OTP Bank and Dundee City Council.

The company also reported that more than three billion operational fleet data points are now used to train its platform’s recommendations and analytics capabilities.
